Join us in building the architecture of the Software-Defined Vehicle.

SECOR Chips & Library GmbH is a young, highly specialized technical team with a clear mission: We make vehicle development as modular as modern software. Those who join us will help shape an ecosystem that is just beginning to take shape—with direct influence, short lines of communication, and responsibility from day one.

Why SECOR

A small team. One of the most complex tasks in the industry.

SECOR Chips & Library is a small, focused startup working on one of the automotive industry’s most complex challenges: a chiplet-based MCU architecture, a shared development environment for hardware and software, and standardized use of vehicle data—all designed together rather than developed one after the other.

You’ll be closely involved in architectural decisions, real customer requirements from OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers, and a team that directly benefits from your work.

We are part of the SECOR Group, headquartered in Gräfelfing near Munich, and are growing as an independent company within the SECOR SDV Ecosystem. For us, growth means more responsibility for those who join us early on.

What Drives Us

“Complexity out.
Speed in.”

“Complexity out. Speed in.” is both our slogan for customers and the standard we set for our own work. Today, up to 150 control units per vehicle are still developed separately, often involving costly integration cycles just before the start of series production. We’re stepping up to change that with a modular, open approach.

People who work with us want to help build a solution that is still rare in the automotive industry: one that is open, modular, and designed for collaboration rather than dependence on a single vendor.

What You Can Expect from Us

A sense of responsibility you feel right away.

Quick decision-making processes, flat organizational structures, and direct access to senior management. Your issues quickly become team priorities and don’t get stuck in limbo.

Technically challenging work on real-world problems

Chiplet architecture, hardware-software co-design, standardized use of vehicle data according to COVESA VSS—you’ll be working on topics that are just emerging in the industry.

Experience you can learn from

Our management team each has over 25 years of experience in the automotive and IT industries—at Mercedes-Benz, BMW, and Audi, as well as in architecture and database systems. We also have an advisory board with decades of OEM and Tier 1 experience.

A company in the making—you can help shape it

At SECOR, our processes, tools, and team structures aren’t set in stone. Those who contribute their ideas will help shape how SECOR Chips & Library operates in the coming years.

Location: Munich and surrounding area

Our headquarters in Gräfelfing is conveniently located just outside Munich—benefiting from the high concentration of innovation in the automotive and tech region and offering easy access to green spaces.
